	Swan Lake Village area, Markham, Ontario.

On March 11th, the lake froze over again for a week and then a large pool of open water formed out by the big island. The pool kept getting larger and larger until finally on March 23 the lake became 90% ice free. The large pool of water attracted the Gulls, Canada Geese, Ducks and even the Hooded Mergansers. Now that the Ice is gone work has started on getting things ready for the return of the Swans on April 1st.
