A beautiful day for a walk in the park.

Friday June 26, 2015.

Swan Lake Village area,
Markham, Ontario

The cygnets continue to grow rapidly but they are still in the cute baby phase. Flowers and birds make walking to and in the park a very pleasant experience.

Wood Duck
The female wood duck is still on the lake. You can usually see it waiting for the Swans to finish eating so it can raid the Swan Feeding Station.

Black-capped Chickadee
Picture taken from the deck in our backyard. We saw it repeatedly go into the decorative bird house on our deck. If we are lucky it may be nesting there.
