The last week has seen the Cygnets growing very fast. The park is full of interesting things to see, The Swans, Cygnets, baby ducks, Great Blue Heron, Young birds leaving the nest for the first time and beautiful flowers and blossoms in the Village and the Park.

Mute Swan
With the assistance of Sal and David I was able to get some close up shots of the Swans relaxing on the large island to the north west.
Apparently Romeo convinced the Canada Geese to leave the Island.

Great Blue Heron
Further down the lake on the South West shore we saw a Great Blue Heron perched high above the water.

Mute Swans
Back at the Island the Cygnets had returned to the shallow water beside the shore, providing a great photo opportunity.

Flowers
Back on land beside the path we saw these beautiful flowers.

Mute Swans
A few hours later I returned to the Park and took this picture, from the landing below the Swan Club, of the Swans swimming from the large island down the shore to the Swan Feeding Station for dinner.

Mute Swans
Elsie Watson joined me at the Swan Feeding Station and took this great shot of the Cygnets.

Eastern Cottontail Rabbits
The mother had made a nest near the Tennis Courts at the Gardens clubhouse. The mother was no-where to be seen but we saw 5 or 6 cute little baby bunnies in the shallow nest on the ground.
