Wild Flowers
When walking along the path on the north east side of the lake you will see these in a few spots close to the edge of the path.

Great Blue Heron
While taking pictures of Romeo at the landing we saw this Great Blue Heron fly by near the shore. We walked down to the east side of the lake where we could see the north east shore and found that it had landed on a log near the Swan feeding station.

Black-capped Chickadee
On my way to the park I saw this cute little bird on a neighbours bird bath - right beside the sidewalk.

In the tree beside the bird bath a Chipping Sparrow was watching me.

Mute Swan
Romeo and Juliet brought their two new Cygnets to the Swan Feeding Station. This little fellow tried to eat a peice of corn but found it to be too big.

While taking some pictures of the beautiful flowers in Doug & June's garden I noticed that a number of Bumblebee's were looking for nectar from the flowers.
