A beautiful day for a walk in the park.

Sunday June 08, 2014.

Swan Lake Village area,
Markham, Ontario

Romeo and Juliet are very protective of the 4 Cygnets. They are keeping them away from people and they are still putting themselves between people and the cygnets.

Mute Swans - Cygnets
Walking along the path between the east pond and the lake I found Romeo and Juliet pulling up weeds for the cygnets to eat in the shallow water where the reeds are growing.
Very difficult to get a shot through the brush and reeds.
