A beautiful day for a walk in the park. |
Friday January 24, 2014. Swan Lake Village area, Markham, Ontario |
|
What to do on an extremely cold day when the lake is frozen over and the park path's are covered in snow? Well there is a tropical paradise only 25 minutes from Swan Lake Village. The Pavilions of the Toronto Zoo!!! In particular the "African Rainforest Pavilion" and the "Indo-MalayaPavilion". It may be cold outside but these pavilions are very warm and humid in order to duplicate the natural environment of the residents. |

Beautiful pattern on the shell. Two of these Tortoises are resting under a sunlamp to soak in the warmth. |

One of the Ibis spread it's wings for a few seconds and each of the other Ibis in the area stretched their wings in turn. |
