| Great Blue Heron |
| The Great Blue Heron is fishing in Swan Lake Park again. This picture was taken from the Swan Feeding Station as it came in for a landing on the east shore. |

| Just after landing the Great Blue Heron checks the shallows for fish and frogs to eat. The Heron stopped at a number of locations along the shore and finally settled on the log stuck in the shallows out in the middle of the lake. |

| Romeo is getting ready for the eggs to hatch by chasing the Canada Geese away from the north east end of the lake. Here he has one trapped on the shore. |

| Red-Winged Blackbird |
| The young Red-Winged Blackbirds are leaving the nest and flying short distances. It's father was staying very close to protect it. |

| Mother and 6 ducklings swimming along the eastern shore of Swan Lake. The picture is not the best due to distance and the light. However it's the first sign we have seen that any ducklings were hatched on the lake this year. |
