A beautiful day for a walk in the park. |

A few pictures taken over the last two days while enjoying the summer like weather. |
Swan Lake Park - May 2nd |
Mute Swan |
Juliet standing up in the nest looking at her eggs. My best count indicates still only 6 eggs in the nest. |
Northern Cardinal |
The male Cardinal landed right beside the path just below the Swan Club. |
Red-Winged Blackbird |
Caught this picture of the Red-Winged Blackbird in flight near the landing. Currently you will see a number of these birds re-enacting arial dogfights over the paths as they try to protect their territory from other black birds. |
Swan Lake Park - May 3rd |
Mute Swan |
Romeo in full display as he hunts for geese to chase. In this shot he stopped for a second to check out the photographer. |
Yellow-rumped Warbler |
Adult male Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle subspecies) that I've been seeing in the trees beside the path near the Swan Club. |
