A beautiful day for a walk in the park. | |

Swan Lake |
Canada Goose |
Red-Tailed Hawk |
This hawk was circling over Swan Lake as we were walking around the lake. |
Canada Goose Gosling |
Another picture of a baby goose beside the east pond. |
Great Blue Heron |
While we were taking pictures from the Pier we saw this Great Blue Heron flying east over the lake. |
Great Egret |
Also known as the great white egret. We took this picture from the pier also and the egret was flying south east. |
Tundra Swans |
We decided to head over to Reesor's pond to see if the Great Blue Heron and the Great White Egret were headed there. We saw two Great Blue Heron's there but no Egret. These two Tundra Swans are stopping over on there long journey north. Very hard to tell the difference between a Tundra Swan and a Trumpeter Swan. The coloring is basically identical and the differences are very small. However the sound they make is quite different and we were lucky enough to hear them. |
Spotted Sand Piper |
Just before we left Reesor's pond I caught this picture of a spotted Sand Piper catching a worm. |
