Romeo and Juliet on their new nest.

It was a cold cloudy day when we went for the walk but I had heard that people had seen two additional swans on the lake. We did not see the other two swans and hope that they have migrated further north.

Picture taken from the Pier of the swan's nest. On the right you can just see the two Canada Geese adminiring the nest.
 
 
Robin
This fellow was hunting dinner beside the path around the lake.

Mourning Dove
This young Mourning Dove, also known as the Turtle Dove, was watching us from a deck railing on the north side of Lakeside Vista Way.
