Swan Lake Park - Arrival of The Swans

Residents of Swan Lake Village gather around the pier to welcome Romeo and Juliet back to the lake.

Return to the Lake
Romeo was very anxious to get out of the cage and into the park. Juliet however was a little more cautious.

Romeo and Juliet walked slowly over to the water and appeared happy to see all their friends.

As usual Romeo and Juliet swam out into the lake to explore and wash up after their long journey.

Romeo and an Intruder
Romeo discovered an male intruder on the lake and very quickly found himself in a fight for his territory (swan lake) and Juliet.

The Retreat
Romeo and Juliet leave the lake and head for the pond on the east side of the lake.

The battle appears to have been bloodless.

The larger wild Mute Swan watches the shore where Romeo and Juliet have retreated to.

Swimming along the shore to ensure Romeo does not return to the lake.
